Transinsight is an award-winning start-up company providing products and solutions for intelligent search technologies in the life sciences. The search engines GoPubMed and MeSHPubMed reduce search time and increase the relevance of search results significantly. The engines use a generic technology which can be adopted to other domains like the finance or food industry. Transinsight works in close collaboration with the bioinformatics group of the Biotechnological Center of the Technical University Dresden. Both Transinsight and the bioinformatics group are co-located in a building which hosts 20 biotec companies several academic groups dedicated to genomics, proteomics, biophysics, tissue engineering, cellular machines and bioinformatics.
