Production Engineering: Research and Development deals with all levels of industrial production. The long history of research within Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktionstechnik (WGP) influencened research in production significantly for decades without sufficient visibility. Many of the worldwide researchers were not able to receive copies of the WGP Yearbook. With this journal the visibility of excellent papers will help researchers to learn more about some of the top-rated developments in production engineering and production organization for modern industry. All papers are peer reviewed. The journal reports many results from Germany¹s WGP but is open to authors from all over the world.
