FindFiles supports all existing Mime Types (apart from standard html text-pages). Well known examples include: 1) mp3 audio and wav sound files; 2) midi musical instrument interfaces; 3) mp4, avi and quicktime videos; 4) jpeg, gif, png and tiff images; 5) Microsoft doc and Excel documents and exe executables; 6) pdf and plain text documents; 7) dwg AutoCAD and wrl virtual reality data files; and 8) archives like zip, gzip and jar. Hi Marcus,
I hope you’re doing well. I recently came across your blog article from 2011 about FindFiles.net, and it left a strong impression on me.
I wanted to let you know that I have restarted FindFiles.net, and I am working to move it forward—building on its original vision and ensuring it serves users responsibly. Given your early support and coverage, I thought you might appreciate the update.
If you’re interested, I’d love to share more details about the current direction and hear any thoughts you might have.
Thank you for what you wrote back in 2011—it still resonates. Since September when I relaunched I received few visits from that very page.
Best regards, Greg
Thanks for the information and what I thought of your site in 2011 is still true. Please keep me posted as I still keep very busy with all my subject tracers and white papers and all my new SO resources. Not bad for a person turning 81 on Friday!!
