GNOSS is web site for the development of the socio-digital life created by RIAM Intelearning LAB S.L. In GNOSS, both semantic web and social web technologies converge. GNOSS provides people, groups and organizations with the necessary tools to create and develop their digital identity, connect their intelligences, create communities based on their interests and motivations, and activate robust processes of collective creativity, intelligence, deliberation and thinking. GNOSS is a semantic site that: a) Expresses and connects the multiplicity of the different points of view of the users on the documents and ideas they share; b) Enables to give meaning collaborativelly to the contents incorporated to GNOSS and generates information about them (i+i or information on information); c) Promotes the tagging of the knowledge in a standard or denotative way; and d) Enables people, organizations and groups to depict, discover, share and distribute knowledge on any type of format. Specifically, GNOSS makes posible the creation of contents semantically represented thanks to its engine for creating semantic forms. In conclusion, GNOSS tries to develop a more simple and robust Web with a more sofisticated representation of the knowledge, a Web that enables people and groups to build and enjoy a socio-digital life space that broadens and increases their possibilities of relation, deliberation, creation and social interaction. This universe of relationships in GNOS is organized around three main spaces: 1) GNOSS communities: It is the social site of people connected through interests. It represents the social life of a community or society in the net; 2) MyGNOSS: It is the private site of a person. It represents the world of social relationships of a person in the net; and 3) GNOSS Organiza: it is the social site of organizations and people making them up. It represents the social life of an organization in the net. This has been added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
