Scholarly research into finance and accounting issues affecting Africa, the Middle-East and Asia is currently wanting. A contributing factor is the lack of suitable journals dedicated to publishing high quality research on finance and accounting issues specifically affecting these regions. The journal bridges this gap in the finance and accounting literature and will help to generate greater research into these disciplines in Africa, the Middle-East and Asia. A major feature of the journal will be to emphasise the implications of this development and the effects on businesses, academics and professionals.
