AstroGrid is a UK government funded, open source project designed to create a working Virtual Observatory (VO) for UK and International astronomers. Working closely with other VO projects worldwide through the International Virtual Observatory Alliance (IVOA), internationally recognised interface standards are emerging which promote true scientifc interoperability of astronomical data and processing resources worldwide. AstroGrid is a leading member of this community. The AstroGrid Workbench enables scientists access to the Virtual Observatory. Astronomers and those wishing to access the Virtual Observatory should read the ‘Science’ pages to find out how to install and use the Workbench. Those wishing to find out more about the software that AstroGrid has developed, of interest to data providers and developers, should read the ‘Software’ pages. This has been added to Astronomy Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
