BagTheWeb – Build Networked Curation

BagTheWeb helps users curate Web content. For any topic, you can create a “bag” to collect, publish, and share any content from the Web. Beyond most curation tools’ capability, BagTheWeb enables users to build networks of bags. This way bags can be linked together to provide rich and complete information about any topic. It is easy to create a bag. Just write a title and a description. Then you can add links into the bag any time. Bags automatically display YouTube and Vimeo videos, SlideShare presentations and Flickr photos. Just add the link. Follow people who have great bags and make interesting bag recommendations. When you find a bag that is useful to you, the bag can be embedded into your blog or website. This has been added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
