Comapping – Collaborative Web-based Mind Mapping

They are a group of enthusiasts who have been interested in the art of mind mapping for a long time. However for years they have been frustrated with the limitations that traditional mind mapping software posed to the users. To overcome this they started developing a unique tool for their own internal use. Over time they realized that they were not the only people facing similar limitations with incumbent mind mapping software. It was from this that in the summer of 2006 Comapping was born through a joint venture between Area9 and Lanit-Tercom. After a large scale private beta test they have now released Comapping on the net. Features include: a) Instantly updated – collaborate online in real-time; b) Web-based – no installation required and instant access anywhere; and c) Easy online mind mapping – a unique auto-layout technology optimizes use of the screen.
