Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) as defined by The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) in the USA, is a group of diverse medical and health care systems, practices and products that are not presently considered to be part of conventional Western medicine. The members of the Japanese Society for Complementary and Alternative Medicine are doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, acupuncturists, nutritionists, pharmacists and researchers of various basic sciences. The Japanese Journal of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine publishes articles in this and related fields. Content in English.
