M u t e M a i l is a SMTP/IMAP/POP3 secure and anonymous email system located offshore in a country with strict privacy laws. Customers can send and retrieve email messages using their favorite email client (Secure Bat!, Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, Netscape, etc) or through the secure SSL Webmail interface. All email traffic is transferred through an SSL encrypted connection between customer’s email software and their secure email servers. For maximum email security clients’ messages content is covered by industry standard encryption algorithms. Clients’ email anonymity is ensured because sender’s network information e.g. IP address and host name (the originating country and internet connections details), is not shown in the message headers. They give an additional, non-standard SMTP port for clients, which may be of use if client’s ISP or company firewall blocks remote email account access. All accounts include advanced email forwarding features and vacation autoresponder. Secure email access and email anonymity provide high level of protection for your correspondence privacy.
