Materials Engineering publishes scientific and research works targeted on the characterization of structure of metallic and nonmetallic engineering materials, including plastic materials, ceramics and composites. The journal is further focused on engineering treatments resulting in improving of material properties, laboratory equipments and facilities for material treatment and on new knowledge in the field of information technologies in materials science. The contributions are published in English since 2008. Materials Engineering is available free of charge as an Open Access journal on the Internet. Abstracts available online.
