The National Library for Health (NLH) aims to be the best health library and information service in the world. It will: 1) Deliver a modern, equitable library service to all NHS staff, 2) Extend NHS library services to patients and the public for the first time, 3) Be built around user needs, 4) Integrate library services with NPfIT and other services, 5) Simplify access arrangements for students and staff working partly in the HE/FE sector, and 6) Reach NHS staff who do not regularly use NHS library services.
