Scholarly Exchange – Making Open Access Publishing Affordable and Sustainable
http://www.scholarlyexchange.org/
Scholarly Exchange emerged in 2002 to promote innovative, cost-efficient electronic-first approaches to scholarly publishing. Its founders were the first to: a) produce a comprehensive manuscript tracking system, and b) introduce a complete editorial-and-publishing e-platform. Scholarly Exchange is the first to: a) offer a Software-as-a-Service e-publishing model, and b) experiment with alternative revenue models for open access journals. Scholarly Exchange is a facilitator, not a publisher and their role is to assist scholarly journals while promoting free and open access to scholarly knowledge. They are developing new ways to sustain e-journals, and welcome your collaboration. This has been added to Academic Resources MiniGuide.
