A key element of the Microsoft External Research vision is to support the scholarly communications lifecycle with software and services so that data and information flow in a coordinated and seamless fashion. By working with members of the research community, Microsoft External Research is developing a series of technologies that are designed for researchers and academics. Microsoft’s Tools and Resources include: a) Collect Data, Research, and Analyze, b) Author, c) Publish and Disseminate, d) Store, Archive and Preserve, e) Collaborate, and f) Discover/Search. This has been added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™.
