The journal publishes reports on the interaction of insects with the biological, chemical, and physical aspects of their environment and is divided into the following sections: physiological and chemical ecology (abiotic effects, pheromones, effects of miscellaneous pollutants); community and ecosystem ecology (trophic-level studies, associations), population ecology (mating, reproduction, movement, behavior, parasitism, predation, microbial ecology, insect-plant relations); pest management and sampling (integrated pest management, sampling, distribution); and biological control (mass release, microbial control, augmentation, classical biological control). Environmental Entomology is published bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
